Fairfield Lake State Park

Activites

Set along the shoreline of a 2,400-acre lake, Fairfield Lake State Park may be the best place to play in Freestone County, Texas.

 

ACTIVITIES:

 

--camping,

--backpacking,

--hiking,

--horseback riding (on approximately 15 miles of day-use equestrian trails),

--nature study,

--bird watching,

--boating,

--water skiing,

--jet skiing,

--fishing, and

--lake swimming in a large, buoyed sandy area.

 

Open daily. 

 

Entrance fees are $4 for adults per day.  Children 12 and under admitted free of charge.

 

Campsites (for tents and RV’s) may be reserved online at www.texasstateparks.org. 

 

Group facilities are also available, including a Dining Hall and Outdoor Amphitheater.

 

You can purchase an Annual Park Pass Card for $70. This gets everyone in the same vehicle as the pass holder in for FREE at any Texas State Park as well as 1/2 your second night and 10% everything we sell in our park store.

 

Texas seniors of 65 and older qualify for a FREE senior partial pass card that will get them and one guest at half price.
